Ingredients
- 15-20 Pitted dates
- 1½ cup water
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- ½ tsp dry red chilli powder
- 1 tsp salt
- Small marble sized tamarind
Instructions
- First cook the pitted dates along with cumin and tamarind in water for about 10 to 15 min.
- Let it cool completely.
- Add chilli powder and salt, along with cooked dates into a mixer and grind it into a fine paste.
- Now chutney is ready to use.
Notes
You can prepare this chutney ahead of time and freeze it as cubes, you can use it as and when you need it
