Ragi rotti is one of my favorite breakfast. It is healthy millet recipe. Ragi Rotti extremely popular breakfast in Karnataka. Ragi is rich in calcium, iron and fiber. It also contains phytochemicals, which aids in slowing down the digestion process. Ragi's high levels of niacin help in increasing HDL cholesterol while lowering Triglycerides. For this you can add any vegetables like zucchini, daikon, bottle gourd, and greens like methi leaves or dill.
Mosaravalakki is very easy and tasty breakfast or snack. It is very useful food when you are fasting(festival days). On Gokulashtami Day this is the dish my mother used to make. With right amount of sweetness, spice and yogurt, Mosaru(yogurt/curd) – Avalakki (flattened rice or Poha) is the perfect breakfast during hot summer days.
Lemon Rice/Chitranna easy yet delicious rice dish.his lemon rice is distributed in few temples as prasadam along with curd rice. Rich in Vitamin C and you can add nuts to make it more nutritious. One good thing about this recipe is good solution to leftover rice.
