This chutney recipe is using the fresh turmeric root.
In this particular recipe we have to use fresh turmeric root to prepare the chutney.

This is Vegan, gluten free, and No onion no garlic chutney. This turmeric root chutney goes well with rice, rotti, roti, idlis….

Dry Jamun or Kala Jamun recipe with detailed video instructions.
This Dry jamun is another mouthwatering recipe I learned from my friend Vidya.  Dry jamun is as the name says jamun served without the sugar syrup. It is as tasty as traditional Jamuns with an additional awesome flavor from the Coconut.

First time I had this dry Jamun along with Bonda soup at my friends place. It was a rainy winter evening when we visited my friend Vidya’s house Hot bonda soup and cold dry jamun was waiting for us :) Yum… this was the best combination.

Khara kadubu/  or spicy kolukattai is a healthy, protein rich breakfast of south india. Easy to make and very tasty.  This is usually prepared on Nagara panchami festival and Ganesh chaturthi.  This spicy avi kadubu is healthy and delicious.

You can use either mixer or food processor to grind the dal.

Try this sweet kolukattai as well.
