Khara Bhath | Khara rava bhath

September 19, 2019 By Raji Leave a Comment

khara bhath

Khara bhath is a variation of Upma/ uppittu. We use vangibath powder and vegetables of your choice to make it more flavorful and healthy  breakfast. Here in this recipe I have used brinjal/eggplant as a vegetable.

Serve the khara bhath with kesari bhath like pineapple kesari bhath, mango keasri, or just plain kesari bhath . this combination is popularly called chow chow bhath in south indian restaurants.

Mulangi / Daikon Radish are low calorie, fat free vegetables, rich in vitamin C, calcium and fiber. Raw Radish helps in preventing and controlling the piles. It helps in digestion, detox the body, boosts the immunity, and good for bone health. Also it is good for weight loss.
