Wash rice and dals thoroughly and soak it with 2 cups of water for minimum 4 hours
clean and Wash the spinach , keep it ready

Transfer around 3/4 cup water from the soaked dals,
Grind the soaked rice and dals along with jaggery, green chillies, coriander seeds, jeera/cumin seeds, pepper and coconut to a fine batter. add water if needed. Then add grated ginger and grind it .
Transfer the batter to a big pan. let the consistency be as shown in the video
Squeeze the tamarind and add the tamarind extract to the batter
Finely chop onion and spinach.( i used a food processor to chop them)
Add chopped onion and spinach, salt and hing to the batter and mix it really well.
Consistency of the final batter is
