Combine rice flour, gram flour, turmeric powder in a bowl, mix it, and then add butter and dry mix it.
Then add salt, pepper powder or chilli powder mix it . Add water little by little, mix. Add water until you get medium soft dough.
I used around 1/2 cup+2 tbsp (water quantity depends on the flours)
Keep the required amount of oil in a pan on medium heat, grease the chakli press and place the required disc, and the dough in the press as shown
Once the oil is hot enough- check by adding little dough , it has to come up immediately, then press the chakli press in circular motion as shown.
After a minute or so flip the ribbon pakoda to the other side, cook both sides until the pakoda turns golden brown on both sides
Once ribbon pakoda turned golden brown on both sides, remove and place it on a paper towel (using a perforated ladle)
Repeat the same procedure with remaining dough.
